It’s the middle of the year and I’m sure most of your plans for the year have been diverted due to life’s many circumstances, BUT is doesn’t have to stay that way. I want to share a couple of tips that I’m using to get back on track and succeed in all my goals by the end of the year.
- Write it out
- Write out your goals & aspirations.
- Set a timeline for them if possible.
- Put the most important activities and task at the top of your list and work your way down strategically.
- Most importantly PRAY that they are in line with the will of God for your life and day to day activity.
2. Use your Calendar
It’s my life in my hands
I schedule everything from my quiet time sessions to how many chapters of a book I want to read. Some may think it’s a bit much, but it keeps me up to date and reminds me of everything I would like to get done. I use a physical planner as well my iPhone to set alarms and schedule meeting times.
3. Be realistic when planning
You can’t do it all in a day!
Don’t try to overpack your day to day activities, when you do that you’ll over exhaust and frustrate yourself when you’re not able to complete it. You know the amount of time you have in a day, make sure to make use it wisely.
4. Take stock of all that you were able to accomplish before you sleep
Before you lay your pretty head to rest at the end of the night go over your day and take stock of all you’re able to get done, what’s left over, and why. During this time you can evaluate what you can change, if necessary, to make sure you make the most use of your time. No one wants to feel overwhelmed with all the day to day activities.
5. Don’t put yourself down
When you go through your day and you can’t seem to make it through that list of things you want to accomplish don’t worry, by God’s grace there is always tomorrow.
